I've found some v6 shortram intakes on ebay that are CARB approved, but they dont carry any for the l4. & I'm not looking to spend $150 on a stupid intake where the only difference is the brand name on the side.

My question is: Does anyone know the dimension differences between the l4 & v6 Accord SRI for the 6th gen? Looking at pictures, it looks as though they have a very similar shape, and if you just turned the v6 SRI around & placed the filter on the oppisite side, it would fit on the l4. Does anyone know firsthand if this would work?

I am looking into this because its that time of year: SMOG TESTING. My ebay intake isnt passing the "visual" inspection. So I'd rather find a way to get a CARB sticker than going through the troubles of getting another stock intake box to put on there.
