I gotta 1989 Acura Integra LS with a stock D16A1 engine. does anyone know what the best JDM engine is to drop in my car? i'm lookin for more power. i don't have the money right now, but i'd like to at least set my eyes on what engine to buy so i know how hard i have to save. ya know?

 

did you get an answer on this? we recently blew up the d16a1 in our lemons car and need a replacement. let me know if you want to sell your motor

* Transmission: S1/J1/Y1
* Redline: 8200 rpm

 

He also forgot to mention that your going to need to get custom axles, hasport mounts, hasport linkage, a 92-93 gsr throttle cable or modify a b16 one, rear bracket from a 99-00 civic si, and build yourself a custom intake.
