I'm thinking about putting my b16 trans in my 1994 gsr. Just wondering if there is a noticeable difference in swapping out the trans? Havent drove a gsr with a b16 trans, but i have driven a b16 with a gsr trans and that shiz was slow.
of course a new exedy clutch and light weight flywheel is going on too. but just wana know if the difference is noticeable??

yea, been hearing that it will, a light weight flywheel and new clutch is going on at the same time so i'm hoping to notice a really big gain.
But have any of you tried it before? Also can i use the gsr mounts and axles? or do i need the b16 mounts and axles?

there will be a difference...the good side is gear ratio are shorter so you should pull a bit better but the bad side is gas mileage and highway driving sucks *** i had one in my car..your car will be faster but if you drive on the highway alot don't get the b16 tranny stick with the gsr tranny. if you like it slap that sucka on and take it to the track!!

Slap that B16 tranny run an Exedy stage 1 clutch and if you wanna run light flywheel I would not go under 12lbs.
I've seen guys with 7-9 lbs flywheels and there motors don't last a year due to spun bearings.
