Thought this would be the best place to post this query. While scavenging around a junk yard, i came across an 1983 Accord, it has a rear window visor thats in good shape, has Honda stamped on it. Is there any benefit to try and get this ? Personally, i don't have a use for it, i thought i ask and see if it's something someone would have a desire for.

A rear window visor? Do you mean louvers for a hatchback? Or like the little ventshades that go on the side windows on the back doors? Any chance you got some pics of it? I'm trying to picture what you mean, I've never seen one before. Might be worth picking up, because I know a few people who would take it, if it wouldn't fit my 84.

 

You're correct by saying louvers which sits on the rear hatch glass. It was painted black and appears to made of aluminum. Covers pretty much the whole portion of the rear hatch glass. Since i haven't seen one on an Accord like that, i thought i run this by people more familiar with this. Actually, this car is in pretty decent shape for its age, usual problem spots, slight surface rust on the sides, drivers seat worn, and left arm rest worn, but all in all, not bad.
