Ok, This store by my house has been open for a while and today i had 200 to spend on my honda, either 5% tint all around or HID's. but I decided screw that i need alarm to protect my ****. well he offered me a install of a full alarm with a shock sensor door sensors and a kill switch and a few other features all for 135 installed and warrantied for a year.

You get what you pay for. What kind of alarm? what kind of kill switches? What extras added to the alarm to make it work correctly-dei 520t back up battery? Any mini sirens in the car to make the theif not want to be in the car?
You need to factor this into the price. If not you are just buying a keyless entry system. Read the sticky above.

Well, Its pretty much a cheap basic alarm. no back up battery, ill get the brand and everything tommarow. but what could go wrong with it?

That you are paying for a basic install that will do nonething to deter theft. Other then that if it locks and unlocks the doors then you should be good on that point.
well it will have a loud siren and door sensors and a kill switch. and every night when i come in i take a relay with me. its under the dash and without it it just turns over and over and wont start. So a mixture of everything will keep haters and thief's out.

Did you ready the sticky above before posting. I pointed out everything needed to make your alarm system work as it should. You are better off doing it yourself.
You do not need more then 2 sirens imo. I use two on every install. One in the car and one hidden either in the fender or bummper.

If I pop your hood an unplug your battery, like every theif does, Is the alarm still going to go off? Can you see the alarm from under the dash. If so you better redo your alarm.
yea, but i will also still be taking the main relay in with me so it wont start at all. im just worried why the locks dont work.

I seen theives car ecu's, main relays, and jumpers. Its best to relocate the harness of the main relay. If the factory locks work before the install. You need to take it back and see what install error that the installer did. Honda's are really simple when it comes to installing keyless entry. There negitive trigger.

this guy got busted trying to steal my neigboor si and they searched his car and he had a bunch of ecus, relays and crap...
Don't forget the hood pin switch and the LED that lets the thief know that he got to cut alarm wire as fast as he can. But on a serious note a $25 back up battery that DEI one makes a world of a difference. Or you can also buy that back up battery siren which I had a thief once rip it out and couldn't get it to turn off. He actually ended up running away with the siren wrapped in a towel we found 1/2 a mile from my car!@!
