ok i want to know is with a stock d15b7 and a stock d16y7...what degrees is the timing supposed to be at because rite now my setup in my 98 civic is a d15b7 block with d16y7 head and i want to know if the timing changes when doing this setup or what degrees its supposed to be set at because my engine is kinda slow and sounds like a timing issue so help me out guys thanks.
even tho is from the grave.... FROM WHat IVE READ if you put a y head on the b7 or z6 blocks your timing will be 4 degrees on the cam(depending) but if you shave the head more than 8 thousandths then it will fix that...i had a z6 block y8 head and i didnt have any timing issues.
