Default GSR Swap w/ Flex Pipe

So I been looking around for some info on my GSR swap into a 92 Civic chassis and it seems that the GSR headers won't reach to my stock civic cat. I've been trying to look around for an aftermarket swap header but no luck, so then I seen someone recommending a flex pipe in between the header and cat to fill the gap. Has anyone used a flex pipe on their swap? Any comments on it? I was wondering if using a flex pipe would give me a loss in power compared to using a straight pipe.

Cool, can't believe there's no company out there that has made such an aftermarket header for such a common swap.

you have to use an aftermarket header to be able to plug your o2 sensor, any brand even ebay headers come with a hole to plug your o2 sensor....or if you can find a stock b16a header that would be nice too, other wise if you decide to used a flex pipe where would you plug your 02s? gsr's 02 sensor is located on the cat converter....

Hmm.. never thought of that, I guess ask a muffler shop to drill a hole and weld a bung on the piping before the cat? The aftermarket cat I bought has 1 1/2 inch's of piping before the actual converter. Would that work?

Also what is the length of correction am I going to be looking at with a stock B16 header? Am I going to have to shorten/lengthen it? If so then by how much? I read that the GSR header is going to be about 6 inches short so I'm getting ready to order a 6 inch flex pipe.

stock b16A1 header should fix your problem as far as fittin the gsr on to the stock cat converter. (i dont know about your aftermaket 1)there won't be a gap and you should be able to plug your o2 sensor on this header and also the b16A1 header might slighty rub on your oil pan, but i have had mine like that with no prob so far...

A stock B16 header wont fit on a B18 due to the increased deck height of the B18 block.

So the B16 header you used for your GSR swap bolted straight up to your civic cat on? Cause if that's true then that's the answer I've been looking for all day! Got any pics of how tight it is down there?
