jw but i been lookin at the 94-97 type r lip and they seem to all look different im lookin to buy one for my 96 teg but i want one tat looks alot like this one in the pic also can i still go to a dealership and buy a 97 oem type r lip?

 

this one is also a type r lip which is said to replica the comptech and the 97 usdm type r lip but it doesnt come close to how it looks like the one on the white teg

Go to OEMACURAPARTS.COM, and also google other OEM ACURA PARTS online stores. They have the OEM lip listed for sale, and you can add it to your cart and everything, however some have said its really not available. Email these websites and ask if they have it, I'm dying to know myself.

 

well i did wat u said and appearently they only have one left in the U.S. and its going to be about $355 plus $40 shipped and it going to take about a week or so for them to get it from the warehouse and plus the time it takes for them to ship it to u

 

Are those spoon calipers and sw388 wheels? Anyway you should not have to go to the dealer. If usdm itr are satisfactory ther are a couple of acura oem part store on the internet and also various vendors selling "type r style" lips. Oe parts would come frome sites likt Acuraoemparts.com Oemacuraparts.com

yeah when i was looking for a type r lip i found out that comptech made the only replica close to oem. i couldn't find anyone that had it in stock so i opted for a jdmshit one. the fitment was off by some but it was the only one i could find that didn't flare out like a si lip

the white lip and the blue lip are the exact same lip.

i bought one from ebay a $65 shipped and it fits just like the ones you see.

Then you got super lucky, man. The Ebay lips are absolute garbage and dont look or fit like OEM at all.
