Default where can i buy ductile iron or sleeve material

I have a machine shop i have been wanting to test my self and sleeve a block. I am almost sure i can do it with no problems. also i think i can even make the sleeves but i have no idea where to buy ductile iron at. If i cant find it i guess i will have darton to make me some sleeves but cost around 400$.
do companies make there sleeves from other metal than ductile iron

I understand that you want to do it yourself. To be honest, I suggest just getting the kit, follow their specs and call it a day.
If you've never done sleeving before, it will take you several times to find out what tolerances will work, how much to cut off the sleeve, how much to cut off the block, etc.
The cost of a sleeve kit is at most $500.00 The cost of R&D on your own, with time, cost of test blocks, machining hours, etc will cost alot more than $500.
