Help!!!! Coolant leak!!!
car has been running great since i got it back from the rebuild. B18C1 block with a b16 head. I went out to get something to eat and when i came out there was a huge puddle of coolant/water under my car. I looked around to see if any hoses were cracked or disconnected. The hoses/wires from the back of the block right under the intake manny are soaked. I dont think its a head gasket cause it runs fine and doesnt smoke at all.also just had one put in 2 weeks ago.
would a water pump do this or any ideas????
also the car isnt overheated.
thanks

check the coolant lines that run to the bottom of the throttle body, also you can check the thermostat gasket/housing. Last but not likely could be the external coolant passage (black tube on the back of the block, runs to the water pump.)
i would have to put it on stands since its so low and i have checked the main two lines as much as i could...i juust see why it would be leaking from the back for the block
i'm having the same issue with my swap. i've located the leak, maybe the same for you. it's the one running from the water pipe to the FITV valve. gotta fix my leak. hope you figure yours out. GL

The obvious answer would be to check where your coolant is leaking from. We can't put your car on jackstands through the internet and tell you.
ok i jacked the car up but i couldn't locate the leak its self. I checked the radiator flud and its full. I have the car warming up so mabye it will be easy to see were it is leaking from.
