You might still have air in the system. Did you bench bleed the master before putting it on? Do you have drums on the back, if so check the wheel cylinders for leakage, check brake lines ect. Than bleed the system in this order (PR,DR,PF,DR). Remember to keep topping off the master as you bleed. Have the cap on if you have someone pumping the pedal, cap off if you are going to gravity bleed. Good luck and have fun.

When the car is off its hard? and when u start it goes to the floor? Possible its the boooster. Was it a new or used booster? Also check ur calipers see if they are engaging. Iono i remember my buddy had the same issue with his 99 accord, But i cant remember what we change beside the booster.

it's possible you have a bad master cylinder, if there are no other leaks i'd bet on that. I had a problem that was very similar on my old eg8, seemed to bleed off pressure but there was no external leakage from the master, put on a new master and it was good to go.

never mind, if you actually put the check valve backwards, you will have a harder pedal feel, not softer. anyway, i would still test the check valve if it's working. When you blow air on the check valve, it should allow air one way, and not the other way.

Mine only goes spongy after applying the breaks and coming to a stop, it will slowly go to the floor then I have it goes to the floor once or twice strokes then works fine again. Bleed the breaks to the moon, but never does my pedal drop to the floor when the car is started.

Either a defective master cylinder or a seized caliper. Does it loose brake fluid like theirs a leak somewhere?

Take the master cyl back and get another one and bench bleed it good and try it again. if the same thing occurs then take it to brake check and have them do a free check up on it. and they will let you know what caliper is screwed or whats wrong.

0, And it could also be a bad or clogged porportioning valve.
