Starter help?
my car hasnt been starting since yesterday my starter wasnt spinning but fuels being pumped, i took it out to get tested and it passed now im trying to get it spinning before i put it back on the most i have gotten it to do is push out and im wondering were the power should go to of the 3 possible places and where the ground should go to, the part that goes to the + side of the battery cable is hooked up and when i try to hook up the starter cable it doesnt do anything but there is electricty coming from the wire, diagrams and help would be nice
Well the power wire that comes from your positive battery cable will have a pretty large ring connector on it, this goes on the stud where the 12mm bolt is. There is also a male spade? connector thats where the little black wire with the female end goes on, this is your power to your ignition switch for your key.
I have had to replace this wire on my CRX because there was a short. Just run wire from the thick Yel/black wire on your ignition switch before it goes into the fuse box.
