Default P28 - f22a sohc non-vtec?

could i run a p28 with an f22 sohc non vtec.
or should i run a pt6.
i got an h23 ecu in it right now, i swapped the motor to build and put back in.
it runs like **** with that ecu.
i just need an answer before i purchase a wrong ecu.

im not familiar with a pt6.. but maybe a p05 or p06.. a civic single cam non-vtec ecu with a proper chip/tune is what u need.

the p28 is vtec.

Use the right ecu for the engine unless this is for tuning.
