need help

Icon6 need help

im new here and needed some help about taking a rev limter out of a 90 honda accord EX..

Why do you need it removed? The engines internals are not really meant to rev over 7200rpm. Or are you referring to the speed limiter. If that is the case your 19 year old car was not meant to go over 120mph. Unless your going to a track with a 5mile strait away you will never reach 120mph. There is no were that you will ever get your Accord up to 120mph legally unless you live in Germany.

But if you really want to blow up your engine or possibly kill yourself or someone else. You could get a chipped OBD1 ECU and get it tuned with the rev & speed limiter removed. There is nothing you can do to a stock ECU to get rid of the limiters.

oh well i didnt know because it goes off at 4000 rpms. I thought i could take that out but i wont do that now because of what you said!!
