After much procrasination, Spoon N1 installed
Now, I personally didn't think it was all that loud when I first heard it in person (TypeRmsmsmsmsmsm's car
). Boy, talk about being wrong.
Oh well. I guess I'll chalk it up to "weight reduction" and deal with the noise.
Next on the list is the motor mount inserts. Still looking for volunteers who has done this before.

Holy Cow. I just installed the Spoon N1 today as well, I love the look... not to big, but it is loud. WOW!
However, once you have the car in 3rd gear and above, its almost identical to stock as far as sound levels. It’s just the first two gears that are loud, especially in the low RPM band. I like the little sputters of backfire I hear as well.... very cool.

As for rattle, what do you mean?

the motor mounts make it so your car's frame absorbs the vibration of the engine. Therefore you'll get more vibration and rattles from stuff in your glove box etc...

I think most exhaust label "N1" is loud......
Take your car to the track......I'm sure you will love your N1 sound a lot more

Well, I heard his car last Sunday at auto-x and was surprised to hear it Not as loud as others have reported, and he blew past my station at WOT more than a few times.

And that's what is puzzling. I think it's louder in the cabin that outside.
Checked for loose connections and everything seemed fine. Also seemed quieter all of a sudden when I started the car last night. I will take it for a test drive tonight to see if there is any difference.
