starting my g23 build
well i am starting my g23 build, so far i got the head, which is port and polished, new springs, retainers, valves, and a 3 angle valve job. The block is going to be stock with the k20 pistons (compression 11:7.1). bigger injectors, (450cc peak/hold low independence) got a chipped p28 ecu with an h22 basemap, modified to use the IAB on the stock intake manifold. once set up is complete it will be tuned. Will update later with some pictures of the head. just waiting for a few more parts to come in and when i have the time. Its going in a 02 accord coupe (yes i know its a heavy car) what makes it worse its automatic, but will convert to stick later on or buy a stick car, but for now wanted to be different and try this in a different car/body style then everyone else. just want to be different and intimidate a few people. well any thought would help me with this build.
i'm doing a very similar thing with a 95 accord. f22b1 block with an h22a/h22a4 head. auto for now... probably going to buy a manual then swap the engines. then boost it and pop an h23 trans for longer gear ratios for better reaching boost.
well im interested, so how are you gonna block the oil drains on the head??? very interested in this. i heard one guy used some kind of liquid gasket or honda bond or something but that seems like it would not be strong enough but idk.... another person broke off a bolt but that seems super sketchy.

Those are the plugs that I had made for mine. The specs were listed by RMS (think that was his name on here). I think he was posting in prelittleludes thread.
see i am thinkin about doing this swap to my 91 crx. i work at a machine shop making parts for air plains and space shuttles. so i do not think i would have a problem to make a few bolts to fit in the oil holes.

is there anything in the way of the oil drains? as in, instead of blocking them off, could you run external drain lines to the pan? or is it more like the oil drains don't line up with any thing on the block but the block is in the way of the drains.
