jdm front or usdm front?
Do whatever you want man, its your car your choice. I personally prefer the JDM front look but I still like the US front end. Your car looks great in the pics BTW
That's a clean car..idk man..im rocking on USDM front but if i have the money i will go for JDM front b/c is HAWT! but as you said..you could get some other stuff with that $$..but i will do it..

I have no idea why anyone likes the jdm front, the whole reason I love teggys is because it doesn't look like every other prelude, accord ect.
You couldn't pay me to switch, I love the beedy eyed little batards.

What are the stats on your R? If its clean title, low miles, and little to no previous paint/body work, I would say keep it USDM (or at least save the USDM front if you do go JDM). I think resale value would be higher on one thats closer to original. However, if yours has previous salvage, engine swap, mismatched panels, or if you just don't plan on selling it, I would say go with whichever front end you think looks best.
JDM fronts are played out IMO...theyre a dime a dozen now. Every integra, no matter what year, condition, has a jdm front. Its like the "thing" to do if you get into a front end collision or if youre just looking for that extra attention...
I agree with other people that there are better things to do with that money...especially since you already have a perfectly functional front end, and the cars looks awesome. Honestly I think the USDM front with the 4 round lights gives the car a more distinctive look than the JDM front. I mean if you want your integra to look like an accord, go buy an accord...There are soo many cars out there with long headlights, it can be mistaken for anything...the US front makes the car look much better, and its cheaper cuz you already have one...
I was in the same dilemma about a year ago...my car was getting repainted, and i was debating on getting a jdm front. After endlessly going thru the JDM fronted slammed car thread, i realized that look only looks good on certain cars...not all JDM fronted cars look great, it can break or make the car. ive seen many cars that kill the JDM front, and some that the JDM front kills the car...It can go both ways...so...
I decided to jazz up the USDM front by adding a sick retrofit (TSX projectors, color mod, custom wiring harness, and clear lens swap...Not only does it look much cleaner, but it performs, giving me the visibility i need ( and that the JDM Front does offer as well for an extra price).
I honestly couldnt be happier and i get nothing but compliments, because there is something noticeably different but ppl just cant figure it out, until they look inside the headlights and see that something was modified...

I would get those $1600 or so that youre gonna pay for the JDM front and get some 16x7 +35 Regamaster Evos in Almighty grey. Then i would get the money that you would have spend on installation/paint/body work, and i would buy some Recaro SRDs and beef up the suspension a bit...
But thats just me...I like function over form....

USDM front end all the way....this is from a guy who has a JDM front end. I bought my car with the conversion already completed so i didn't have a choice. I like the JDM front end and i think it looks better but nothing is better than OEM paint and welds. Wouldn't give that up if it was my choice.

hhaha.
