Hey everyone. Just putting my motor back in from a build and have most everything hooked up except these two which I can't recall which locations they belong to.

I have this metal clip thing that looks as if it is screwed down maybe somewhere?



Here is where it is currently at



I also have this hose from the other end of the fuel rail. I have searched the radius of it but can't see anywhere it may go



I tried looking at pictures of others engine bays but you can never really tell since the hose is on the back side.

that metal clip thing ur talking about is ur ground..it goes on the tstat housing very important

that hose goes to a nipple on ur IM..#19 in the picture

all the water on that engine looks a little scary in those conditions

 

this guy is wrong well half wrong the hose on the end off the fuel rail is the fuel return line

 

Thanks man! I'm glad to hear that it is very important since I was thinking maybe it went on my old LS head and I don't have it anymore for reference. Was maybe going to start it without it lol

It was raining all day but I covered the throttle body and where the distributor goes. Took it out for the picture though.

 

I just looked at the diagram and noticed what you're talking about. just a simple mistake with the vacuum and the fuel line. I should have put an arrow to the hose I meant which is the one I was holding. I think he may have thought I was trying to hide the other hose to show the vacuum hose that is also disconnected

 

sorry yes i was wrong i thought u meant the other vaccum hose..the one ur holding is in fact the return line

 

that fuel return line goes to your firewall..
