Default Leak In Hatch.

Okay, So I have a leak going into my hatch, where my spare goes.

I thought the culprit was the lights, so I took off my side panels and this is what I find on both sides.

What action should I take to battle this? I thought my car was rust free, what could cause this? It still has oem paint and it's, just now, starting to fade very little.

And what would cause this on both sides? Chassis Twist? When I go up a little at an angle, I can hear the squeakings.

fold rear seat down. go into an auto carwash and get in back and see if you can trace it back to the source

that is a good method, i like to get a friend with a water hose tho, so you dont have to pay for the carwash

i had the same leak in my 92. i thought it was the tail lights so i sealed them, that didnt work.

then i noticed in the tail light area, there are some overlapping pieces of metal with seam sealer on them, i resealed those and my leak stopped.

it's coming from under the rear wheel wells. it's moldy like ****.

Its a 95 civic hb. I'll clean the mold and try the seam sealer.

Drill a hole at the lowest point, repaint and the water will drain.
