Default anyone get CEL with aftermarket header/exhaust?

I was wondering if the o2 sensor will throw code with the installation of an aftermarket header/exhaust. does that ever happen?

you wont get a cel with an exhaust but you will with w header.. the way to fix the cel with a header is to put a defouler on the secondary 02 sensor.

unless you use a defouler.

http://www.corsportusa.com/store/cat...oducts_id=2817 $45 shipped. this is what you put the secondary o2 in if you're deleting the cat.

i've heard of issues with the defouler not fitting if it's not bent like the one i linked to. personally i think even the one in your link is overpriced; i bought a pack of 2 defoulers from schucks for like $7 a couple years ago.

no its perfectly fine. i ran it on my dc header and i have it on my skunk2 header i just got and i've had no problems. i've had this defouler for about 28k miles already. 45 for a defouler is just plan ridiculous. at least the jhpusa one shouldnt be any more than 10-15 shipped.

and thats a couple years ago. prices went up on everything bro.

That Blox defouler fits just fine. I have the exact same one on my RH for 2 years now.

Just fine. Had the car in the air a few days ago and all is good with the DCRH.....despite what all the other dimwits say about it. No cracks, leaks or bends.
