Use phillips screwdriver, remove console surround trim piece.
Remove cluster, also phillips screws if my memory serves.
Try not to drop screws behind cluster when removing.
Bulbs are in twist sockets, remove socket and swap bulb to colored bulb of choice.
Reinstall.
Sorry, I have no pics, but it really is a super simple procedure.
I used generic Pep Boys 194NA bulbs (3 total) to get an amber cluster.

Its still not what im looking for. The guy that did it stuck the light bulbs into carboard and painted them so they will glow red. Ok Just tell me what paint to use on the bulbs and ill do it myself.......Hopefully i wont mess up the cluster collor schemes.
Thanks guys. meanwhile ill keep on searching for that one post.

I would go buy red bulbs, available at Pep Boys or Vatozone, long before trying to paint the stock ones. Paint fades and discolors over time due to the heat.
If you insist on painting, you just need to cover the base of the bulb. Pushing it into a sheet of cardboard would work. Use "stained glass" or equivalent paint.
