ABS Light Is one
abs wheel sensor
speed sensor
and alternator
1. In the OBD-II connector, locate the Brown wire in the 9th pin position, and ground the wire. The ABS light should flash out the code to indicate the problem. If there are no codes, verify that the alternator is not overcharging.
2. To clear the ABS codes, cycle the ignition switch on and off 20 times or more. Then drive the vehicle faster than 7 miles per hour, and verify that the code will clear.
tell me the code stored.
is it just the abs light on?..or is srs on as well?

Just abs, i'll stop by Autozone they do free readings.
I had my ABS come one like 3 times before after starting the car but would go away after a I restarted it, now its just on

Eh, light has been on solid, before it has been on and off. Now just on.
Just ABS, nothing else is one.
I need to find time and go to Autozone to get a free OBD reading done, but besides that anything I can check myself? I looked at the fuses and everything.
This wheel sensor, is that something accessible that can be inspected?

it doesnt have to be altenator..
i was just listing things it could possibly be, and i copy and pasted exactly what napafix said to do.
if the abs system doesnt get correct voltage (overcharging or undercharging) then the abs system will shut down resulting in an abs light. a low charging and high charging vehicle can experience all sorts of electrical issues. it seems the civic is prone to false readings from teh altenator overcharging according to napafix.
check fuses first since you dotn have a scanner. check fuse 8 and 10 underhood.
fuse 8 is 20 amp, fuse 10 is 40amp.
from there it could be a couple of thigns.. but you do have one abs sensor for each wheel.
