Default Suspension set up

My CRX Si will only be used to drive to and from school and obviously on the weekends. So I do not need super stiff springs and I also don't want the car to be scraping over speedbumps and all that good stuff. I'd just like a recommendation for a decent suspension setup that doesn't lower the car hugely, gives a good boost in handling performance, and isn't ridiculously expensive for a kid going to school (~$500 would be awesome, will pay up to $750 though) What are the thoughts on swaybars and what shocks/spring setups work well together? Many thanks

Check out this suspension thread. K-sports are very nice full coilover system for ~650. 36 way adjustable. If you aren't looking to go that hardcore, check out the thread and see what others are running to give you an idea how their cars sit.

If you are looking to do the work yourself , Then i would suggest Koni yellows, they have a lifetime warrenty. ( don't forget to send in the warrenty) and ground control. the Koni yellows are full adjustable from hard to soft. Their is also a adjustable on the shock to lower it if you want it to sit lower then usual. The ground controls are an adustable coilover. PEACE AND EVOL.

Why in the hell would you want 36 way adjustable for a DD, most people have no idea how to use them. Plus I havent heard the best of the Ksports in terms of the shock, a buddy just had to replace 2 because one leaked and the other was blown out after a year, Now when I say that it is his experiance and most wont have this problem, shocks are items that wear out and need to be replaced so keep that in mind.

A simple KYB would be a good shock to go with. 1904wrenchers on the right track

Oh yea this is a suspension question that will probably get moved to the suspension forum...

yeah i don't think the OP needs adjustable coiloers...KYB AGX and Neuspeed springs would be just fine...and i'd just keep the stock sway bars...
