cleaned my nasty dc2 headlights with Meguiar's PlastX
My car has been getting beat up the past 12 years and I'm about to get it re-sprayed, so I found a good deal on a HID JDM front end and have been slowly getting ready to take my car in for paint
...the headlights had seen better days, I bought all the stuff to wetsand my headlights to get the hazy stuff off...but I decided to try Meguiar's PlastX to see how much of the nasty **** I could get off...I'm so happy I did not wetsand, here are some pics...this only took me 15 minutes, I'm gonna probably spend another 15 minutes on these and call it a day...

I use that stuff all the time. It works great. You should still think about wet sanding. It will get rid of everything and won't need to be polished all the time.

Yeah that stuff works great, I did that to my nasty EK headlights a few years ago and they still look brand new! Nice job
The fog haziness will return. I use this stuff all the time, but generally in about 2 months the fogginess comes back. No big deal though, I just touch them up as part of the detailing process.
does this improve the inside of the lens at all?? my NON Hids look clear on the outside..but when you turn the lights on they seem dirty on the inside?
