That rotor is either going to have to be *OVERSIZED* in order to keep the pad fully engaged, or its undersized and you lose pad contact surface area.

I don't know about you but.... Why even ask WHY if your setup is not going to benefit from it.

I doubt it works, if it did, well known companies like brembo or auto companies like porsch would be using it already.

I already have a good brake set up. Fastbrakes 11" w/ wilwood kit. I just happen to found this while looking up some GC8(impreza) on UK ebay.

It looks like they copied the styling of a wave rotor for sportbikes.

to me it looks like one of those "rice" type things, up there with 5" exhaust tips and stick on hood scoops. people put them on their car because they look good not because they perform well. not to offend anyone who likes this kind of stuff but those look like ***.

I can see show cars using them.

And to the douche who said if they were good porsche would use them, stfu.
So nothing new can ever be done because someone else hasn't already done it? That is the most ignorant statement of the year.

That being said I would never buy these, but I bet they will start showing up at HIN on G35s and ****. idk

They're called Scalloped rotors and there's some knuckle heads out there racing those things in short track racing. But its stupid because there's no mechanical advantage to it and they brake so often that they will only ban them when they kill someone from broken disk flying into someone's head!!!
