what distr. on h22 swap in 92 si??
so my swap is almost complete, I have a 92 si and did a h22 swap and kept my h23 harness on.
so my question is what distributor do i use? do i put the h22 dizzy on it ? if i do that the plug for the external coil is just sitting there. if i use the h23 dizzy the h22 ecu isnt set up for an external coil is it?
so which dizzy can i use and not have to wire anything up? the h22 or h23 , which one is the easyest/best to use ?

i have a h22 swap with a h23 harness using a jdm h22 dizzy, it works fine. internal coil. the shop didnt want to use the external coil cause there isnt any where to place it and to mount it somewhere in a open area would need a longer spark plug wire.
yeah use the H22 dizzy, you can also find it under a 94 prelude vtec if you are going to a local store cause they came with the usdm H22, same dizzy. good luck
thnaks yall. so i just leave the external coil wire on my harness sit there? and i dont have to wire to use h22 dizzy? thnks alot for the help
I would use the si harness to mate with the h23 harness and use a obd1 dizzy it would plug right up and now extra plugs i hav a h22 in a 95 ex and i just use the ex harness a change a few thing if u need some to wire it up just pm me
Use the h23 dist. and connect to the h23 harness. Buy a H22 external coil bracket and mount it to the factory location. No wiring work, clean install, no problem.
