is there any damage that can come from a cheap turbo to my motor or will it just be a crapy turbo and break easily .

 

It could start leaking form seal and get it in your intercooler/piping/IM/ Combustion chamber. Fouling plugs and making a mess when the BOV blows off in engine bay ect. I would stick with a good brand turbo.

 

what else? my motor is built rod JE pistons ect. how bad are those cheap ebay turbos any ways?

baaaaaaad, you'd be lucky to get 10,000 miles out of the thing. Theyre cheap chinese domestic market rejects and the bushings suck. im not sure of any internal damage that may occur, but if the turbine locks up, your car is going to run like complete dog ****. I'd save the several hundred bucks you'd spend on an ebay kit and put it toward a good setup... very very very well worth the wait.
