Good evening S2K gurus... well basically i drive a 98 civic, and im going to be using MUGEN calipers
(which are practically the same as front s2k calipers) and 11.8 front rotors as my DIY big brake kit... yes i've done my research and did all the needed mods inorder for me to do this. yes it works! & now all i need are wheels.
My question is whats the lowest offset can i run???
I was suggested +15 on 16x8 wheels..
-im going with 16's so that my caliper/rotor can clear the inner wheel
-yes i want it to be "x8" want that W I D E look...
- but the main question is, the offset alright?? (+15)
-can i go lower but still have enough caliper clearance from behind the spokes? or should i just stick with that offset?
thanks again guys for your feedback.

its stated in the beginning of my thread "98 civic" obviously its an EK chassis... i just want know how low of an offset i can run without hitting the caliper from behind the spokes...
Offset has nothing to do with Brake caliper clearance. The measurement you should be concerned with is the distance from the back of the spoke to the mating surface of the wheel, not from the mating surface to the back lip of the wheel.
Different manufactuers call this measurement different things. Kodiak, for example, calls this the "critical dimention".

We would not be able to answer this for you as it's not going to be the same clearance as it would be on an S2000.You just need to bust out the ruler and measure.
Greyout is correct, its not just about off-sets (yes they can matter) but wheel face design. Higher end manufactures usually have a few "disk" options.
