Here's a calculator you can use:

http://www.zealautowerks.com/bseries.html

According to that caculator, you'd have a 13.7:1 compression ratio, unless I chose the wrong options.

itr rods with a ls crank?

i thought they were different lengths, center to center.

13.7:1 means the piston is probably coming out of the bore.

ls rods and crank with those pistons should only have the ~11:1 compression, like the itr. just with a slightly larger displacement 1797 vs 18XX cc's.

I dont think that using a ITR rod/LS Crank combo would effectively utilize the stroke you are looking for. Use the LS Rods/Crank and your good to go.

if i tap the itr head for ls vtec will i be able to use it later on on my itr block thats getting built? its a 99 itr block with a 2.0 bore brand new itr crank brand new itr rods and im looking for some high c/p 84mm pistons for it...

will i have to untap the head????? where can i get some good 84mm high c/p pistons? want to keep the compression the same as jdm itr i think its 11.0:1..

Your LS VTEC setup looks good with the LS rods/crank. The head, if you tap it and plug it you should be fine for future use back on the ITR block.

As for your 2.0 ITR 84mm pistons, any of those manufacturers above should have a high compression slug for you.

CP lists:
SC7117 84mm bore 11.5CR with B16A head
SC7120 84mm bore 12.5CR with B16A head

All these specs are with 89mm stroke.

i have the jdm itr head wich is ported and polished from the factory right? and dual valve springs. im thinking about gettin the crower stage 3 cams for the itr head. but the cams require the dual valve springs but i have the stock valve springs in the head wich is already dual valve springs will they be able to hold the crower cams without having valve bounce?
