Don't paint your interior, it looks ricey and cheap. There are specially formulated products for doing stuff like that.
A while back I saw a picture of a person's pillar trim they wrapped with fabric, and that looked nice. Just something to consider.

Thanks

No. And don't paint your interior. Save your cash and time, buy a used full black interior from Craigslist or wherever.

hey if u want to paint your interior, use the SEM LANDAU BLACK cans of spray paint. i have a 4 dr lx sedan and i'm bout halfway done with my project. i'm trying to change the stock interior look from tan to black. this stuff is awesome!!! i'm doing it piece by piece, and it looks like original oem paint. i have all the front bottom dash pieces done, the center console, the two front doors, the bottom part of the front seat belt pillars, and the back piece by the rear window where the rear speakers are. i'll try to post some pics up later when i get a chance. the only problem with the paint is that if u scratch it, the original color will show through. but when i get a chance and some time, i'm gonna respray everything with some clear coat spray to finish it all off.

That sounds great, can't wait to see the pics. How long has it taken you so far? And roughly how long does it take the paint to dry out after an application?

dont do it. the sem product only looked good for a while with my set up... large waste of money and effort. we did it with professional grade products and people and it was not worth it at all

So what are some options for getting black interior panels if painting them isn't a good idea?

Im in the process of doing this at the moment. I think it is a GREAT mod. How many 96-00 Civic's have black interior? Not many unless its a CTR.... Im EXTREMELY happy with how mine has come out so far. I still need to get everything fully set in, but for the pieces i have in now, it looks GREAT.

I also wrapped my A-pillars and my headliner in Alcantara suede. Its sick....Once i get my CTR red carpet i will be bale to put everything back in. Go to my thread and check it out....

https://honda-tech.com/forums/honda-civic-del-sol-1992-2000-1/how-diy-custom-interior-project-%2A%2Ano56k%2A%2A-2500737/

You wont be able to find all of the panels you need in black....and if you do its going to be $$$$$$$$$$$$$$.....ive spent a little over 250 on all of my materials...that includes paint, fabric, suede, adhesives, etc.....plus i know its all done right and i feel much more accomplished doing it myself.

If you have any questions, lmk....
