Our ignition is a little different, its like a coil on plug, but the coil is separate and it's all in one, instead of individually, what else would I need to make it work, if it's even possible, thanks.

It won't work. Period. Unless you go to a stand alone ECU that supports it.
His motor (M42) uses individual coil packs. No distributor at all. Everything is controlled via the ECU using the crank sensor and cam sensor.

Not exactly. They do use a single coil to power a fixed distributor though (no distributor based spark adjustments - all done by the computer).
