Icon6 Car is effed - need help!!

Hey guys...I have a 96 GSR with 212k and I noticed a small leak from the head gasket, so it was time to do some maintenance. I changed the head gasket, timing belt, cam seals, etc. I got it all back together Saturday...the car started up like normal during a cold start, but then started a low idle and shut off. The video shows what happened...give me your insight. I have no idea where to begin.

Sounds like a timing issue.

Is there a method for checking the code without buying a scanner/towing the car to a location where there is a scanner?

Thanks again for the info. So I went out to check the code via the service connector and the cel just kept going off after I turned to the ignition switch. After a couple of times moving my paper clip around, I said well maybe I just start the car. This time the car ran and warmed all the way up to operating temp and no cel?? What the hell is going on??

Was your battery/ecu or ecu fuse disconnected at any time? These are the only things that can rest a code...Unless you of course have a scanner...But cel light keeps flashing the same codes over, and over untill they are either rest, or fixed...Even after they are fixed they cycle 3 time, then they go away completely. So what codes did you end up with?

Kinda...it turns out I had the MAP and TP sensors switched. So I switched them up and now I have a new symptom. My car is idling at almost 3k! I just drove it around the block and the car is definitely not pulling like it is supposed to. Could this be a timing issue? I checked it over and over again due to reading everyone's horror stories. Any ideas??

It was definitely bogging down. I would give it 3/4 throttle and it is like the car didn't want to move.

Does anyone else think this sounds like a vacuum leak?? I will check all the hoses on the intake manifold again.
