Default Viper Alarm / Car battery died

My car battery was completely dead. got new battery. next thing you know, my remote for my viper alarm stops working. non of the lights are lighting up. i thought it was battery. put new AAA battery into viper remote. stilll nothing.

you might have to reprogram the remote depending on what model the viper is...

Also verify if the fuse for the alarm is not blown.
