Really want JDM front end, How much is my US Spec worth?
I already know I am going to get flamed for this post but I need to know if I were to sell my brand new bumper and lip, with my hood, front fenders, and headlights all in Showroom condition with no flaws what could I get for them? I really want JDM front end but want to purchase the full conversion brand new from ICB since my car is Showroom condition with only 11k miles I feel it deserves brand new parts. My car is PY for those who dont know me. I am not positive I would get rid of my front end but if it were for the right price and enough to buy the JDM conversion I would defanantly think about it. I would appreciate some honest responses on how much my front end is worth. Thanks
Hey buddy, we get the idea that your car is mint. You paid a ton of money for it, it better be mint. You don't have to put that its in showroom condition and that its only got 11k miles in every single thread you make.
I really want to get rid of my JDM front end and convert it back to USDM. There is no way you are going to get anywhere near what a JDM front end costs. I've seen full front ends go for $600 without the core support, just all the panels and lights, no damage. PY doesn't really mean much unless someone with a mint PY wanted your front end, since whoever buys it will have to paint it most likely.

Lol, man... You just spent a ton of money on a brand new bumper and paint. Why do you set yourself up for fail. I don't think you will ever be happy with your R. You should put the old bumper on it, sell the new bumper, sell the R. Then buy a real jdm MINT ITR from Japan. Then you might be happy, if you didn't decide you liked the US front better.

I wish you would "move on" like so many others have. How about an M3?
You're front end is worth the most on that ****ing caR, you idiot.

. I have tried to move on with Evo's, Sti's etc... but nothing ever compares to the Type R. Sorry that it bothers you but I will never sell this Type R. I understand that keeping the US front end will hold its value and keep originality but if I dont plan to sell her and think the JDM front end would make her look even better why not go for it. Come on man can't you say something nice for once, what did I ever say to you to deserve this comment?
I like the JDM front just as much as you. I have always dreamed of having a RHD real type R. It may happen one day, but for now I have a USDM model. The thing about the JDM front on a US car is the fact that it is still an american R. It is like being a wigger, you may think you are black but your not.
Either way it is your car, you can do as you please... and you will. Sometimes I think you enjoy tormenting the rest of us.

and lol at the dude trying to sell the original bumper for $600
You made good points and I now realize I wont be getting a JDM front end anytime soon although I still love the way it looks
with the OP reminding us how low his low R mileage is and how its in showroom condition...Yay!

get the jdm front end with oem foglights installed directly in the front bumper. You can get ones with vin matching bumper and foglights.
First of all I like to say my R is in mint condition. I mean clean. I mean clean like I just got it from Acura. Like Clean as F***.
Oh about JDM front. Do what you want. I would do it but dont expect to get more than 400 bucks for your US front.

If I was a perspective buyer of your car in the future, there is no way on Earth that I would believe that you just decided to remove it for no reason. I would suspect it had been wrecked or damaged. You really need to just unwrap your car out of whereever you store it and enjoy it for what is. A low mileage car that probably won't give you any mechanical problems.
Let's be clear. When you decided to ditch the OEM stock bumper on your car it ceased to be a "Showroom, Mint" car. You decided to disregard the numbers matching bumper for something else. You can no longer claim that this car is in "Showrroom, Mint" condition. It's not. I'll give you it may be pristine but you completely ruined your car's value as "Showroom, Mint" car when you lost the numbers matching front bumper.

. So what if one VIN on the front bumper isnt matching the car looks 10X better now IMO.
On a side note I am driving my car more now that I got my mods and love every minute of it
Carfax doesn't tell you anything. It says my old R was never in a wreck before I bought it, and that wasn't the case. If you don't report the accident to anyone, it doesn't go on the carfax.
