ok i just rebuilt my motor and about to break it in..i turned it on let it idle for about 5-7 mins and i pressed the gas and it reved to 2k fine then i changed the oil..i put new oil and filter and turn it on and idle for about 2 mins and the put it in first gear and press the gas a lil 2 accelerate and it wont rev past 1400 rpms so i put it in second and 1400 rpms so then i give it some more gas then it turned off...so i go 2 turn it back on and it turns on the turns off within 1-2 seconds...the only check engine light is #14 which is the IACV(idle air control valve) any ideas?

 

Every other sensor is pluged in?

 

you have it switched! i bet you thats the main reason, check it and report back. its located behind the intake manifold.

 

yea eveything except the thing under the intake manifold for the gsr secondaries

 

have wat switched?
