Default Custom turbo header H22

Hey. This will be my first fabrication. I have searched and understood that primary diameter and length is key in performance. I am in the process of building my 2.5l stroker block. Im open to ideas and maybe discussion on appropriate sizing.
Im thinking on something like this just primaries running horrizontal vs up. Collector into a 3" u bend then into a gt35r

Heres a pic of my bay as of now.

Thanks in advance

a side winder will work fine if you plan on building you intercooler to work with the manifold if it was me i would just build a bottom mount turbo manifold with matched runner and you would be able to run a standard style intercooler . good luck and you might post this is the fabrication thread.

if you look @ that K series Full-Race manifold you can tell its obviously not equal length or equal pressure drop. In fact that particular manifold sits the turbo center section about 23 degrees from being flat. Its still works damn good though, but much room for improvement...

anyway, imo place the turbo in the best spot possible and go from there. You do not want to put a large diameter tube after the collector to the turbo unless you have to, its all bad.

That's a nice setup. I would've stuck with that, instead of going back to n/a. That is a thing of beauty, and it's not even fully welded up, yet. I love those side mounted turbo setups. They look so trick.

I really like the above pictured setup. I would go with something like that.
