hey guys, how much does lojack cost? the prices off google vary alot, and theres no real info on their site. also, there seems to be a mixup about whether or not theres a monthly fee. so i guess im wondering, is there a monthly fee for lojack? and how much for a 90 integra? thanks!

 

No monthly fee.

LoJack seems to imply in the paperwork that you need to have it "serviced" every few years, but most people don't bother. No idea how necessary it is, but its probably just a backup battery replacement.

Initial price seems to vary greatly based on how you purchased it. I paid much less than many other people I've spoken to have paid (on paper anyway), but I got mine through the Acura dealer when I bought the car (used), and basically got them to throw it in for free (they deducted the claimed price of the LoJack from the car price).

I bought my car 6 years ago, but I think I was charged less than $300 for it, and it paid for itself in insurance discounts in the first 3 years. Most people I have spoken to have claimed being quoted much higher prices.
