Default Best exhaust for my situation, suggestions?

Okay, so it's time to make my car legal, and it seems getting an aftermarket exhaust is a lot cheaper than most of the other options. I do a lot of highway driving, so I don't want it to be loud with everyday driving. I really don't care too much about power, and looking close to factory would be cool. I have had experience before in the past with the WS series from Apexi, and was thoroughly impressed. This time around, I don't really feel like spending $400 on an exhaust becaus this is my commuter. I like the look of the HKS twin tip, and the OBX twin tip, and am leaning towards the OBX because of the $200 price tag. Any experience with this, or the other eBay exhausts; Racing House, Tenrai, or Auto Grimmig? I just don't want to get something that I am going to rip my hair out over and lose out on money trying to resell it and replace.

hard call... what I can say is that any way you go you CAN add a silencer to most aftermarket exhaust... its will eat 1hp but it will drastically reduce the noise... and this should help you a whole lot.

Please excuse what I'm about to say because most people might think this is foolishness. But I was in a similar situation. From what I can gather most aftermarket exhaust for EF's don't make any power, they just change the exhaust note. I wanted a HKS just because of how it looks so I went to the dealer and bought a stock exhaust for 2 and some change. I painted it black, got some OEM chrome tips, and I'm very satisfied. Plus it comes with a lifetime replacement warranty from the dealer. So if thing goes wrong........

I'm very happy with how extremely quiet my OBX exhaust is on my CRX. The only thing I don't like is the size of the muffler on mine because it drags on everything.

I'm in the same exact situation and would like to know with what you're going to go with.

I too want something that's going to give me power, but not something that's going to kill my ears and kill the ears of people around me when I'm doing 90 on the freeway at 5,000 RPM. (CA traffic is crazy. )

I just had a muffler shop weld my stuff together. I went with a 2.5 inch pipping, 16 inch magnaflow resonator, magnaflow muffler, and HKS old School duel tips for my B16A powered CRX. It sounds nice and quiet in my opinion. And the cost was $250 not to bad in my opinion.
