tricky question? 96 jdm motor
ok. so i decided to check out the stamps on my engine thats currently in my car. and it appares to be made in dec. of 96.
now i know usdm motors (atleast half way threw 96 atleast) 96 is when the motor switched from obd1 to obd2.
the motor is in a 95 prelude and i just dont understand how its running right if its obd2 in a obd1 car. the intake mani is of the 96 motor, im unsure if my old h22 (92) alt is on it or if its from the 96 but i think its from the 96, theres no extra wires coming off the dizzy or anything and even the resinator box for the peak and hold obd1 injectors is still in use.
did jdm h22a's remain obd1 untill 97 or is mine infact deff a obd2 motor?
oh yeah and its a t60 dizzy
