went to the drag strip in february. ran 13.13 @ 107.4 in no wind and about 70 degree weather. 60ft was 2.0

went to the track yesterday. ran 13.15 @ 104 in 13 mph cross wind and about 55 degree weather. 60ft was 2.1

with this info in mind, am i possibly good for 12's?

i had newer stiffer suspension 10k/8k and a torque damper when i ran yesterday but not in february (stock suspension).

what should i be running or expect to?

 

What is your setup? Street tires/drag slicks, etc. Post up the whole timeslip also.

 

I'd say your good for 12's test out different size tires.

thermal 3" exhaust
methanol injection
PIC suspension 10k/8k
Ingalls Engine Torque damper

i was on bfg drag radials 225/50/15 at 25 psi. for some reason when i had it at 15 psi, i would bog off the line no matter what i launched at. i guess due to the cold weather?

the last time i ran in february same setup with tires but did not was on STOCK suspension and no torque damper but at 15 psi....

any advice would be great

also in february, without my new mods, i consistenly ran 13.15, 13.13, 13.17, 13.14 all day. no problems or bogging. im assuming weather because i have never ran in that cold of weather before...

 

Put some slicks on it, preload the **** out of it, get that 60ft down to a 1.6-1.7 and you will see a 12 second pass after a 12 second pass after a 12 second pass...etc
