hey guys, i just swapped a turbo`d sohc zc vtec into my 93 del sol it is running on a chipped/tuned p72. now onto my problem when i start the car it will crank and instantly dies if i give it gas it will stay alive but the second i stop giving it gas it dies any idea what could be goin on....

What are you running for fuel management? What injectors? I see you posted chipped p72, but is it tuned since the swap? ANY CEL?

 

i am running RC 440`s and the p72 is chipped on crome and came with the swap it ran good in the car it came out of but it has not been tuned since i put it in and i will check for CEL real quick

 

Have you checked the mechanical timing?

 

yes sir, it is spot on

 

Did you find a CEL?

Sure sounds like a timing issue.

Are the plugs and injectors in the correct firing order?

Have you measured the fuel pressure?

 

got it fixed had a pretty bad vaccum leak idles right at 800 now
