Im in the middle of building my first manifold for my MK3 supra with 2jz swap. We are trying to fit a large gt47 in the car and i have a few concerns about the manifold.
The only way i can make the manifold fit in the car is to push it forward quite a bit. The problem with this, is the rear banks are going to be alot longer then the front banks. How much is this going to effect the performance of this manifold? There is also going to be some fairly tight bends in order to clear everything, again, im concerned with how this is going to effect the performance.
Ill try and get some pics up tonight of how tight everything is. Any suggestions would be greatly apreaciated!
Thanks
Ryan

with what youre trying to achieve i dont see the changes you will have to make really killing the performance of that turbo. it will definetley have to come forward in order to make it work, or be turned in a different direction and the downpipe come in front of the motor?
cool setup!

this is a manifold i did for an s14 with a 2jz. you can run the front three runners under the back 3 to help get the lengths a little closer. but like mentioned already, it shouldn't hinder the performance a whole lot i'd think. hope it helps.

Thanks Weirtech, i never really thought of doing it like that. I will definitly try something along those lines. Im just not to sure how much room there is under the collector to do it. Im going to put the hood on the car and see if there is a chance i can push the turbo higher up.

To the OP, take note of even though the packaging is snug, he still managed to angle the wastegate tube partially with the flow of gases and not a square 90 degrees or angle back against the flow. Wastegate placement is another key issues that so many people building them forget about.

I noticed that right off the hop
thanks for making note of it though. Because i plan to drive this car on the street as well as track duty, i am going to be using a dual wastegate setup. So the first gate is going to come off the collector and the second one will come directly off the turbine housing.
