Default help with GSR swap

hey hows it goin? I am in the process of putting an obd1 gsr in my crx. I have it in but, there is about an inch for my headers to clear. So i have come to the conclusion the my frame is bent cuz i do have a salvage title. i was told that i will have to cut the cross member, but im thinkin probably not. Also, my hasport kit on the rear bracket it will not match up to the mount its off bout an eighth of an inch. Any ideas????

well, the rear mount is slightly adjustable.. you can try that.

Also i recently swapped a b20 in my car and the ITR header i used just touches my front mount on the cross member, although a GSR header may be more compact and closer to the engine. I wouldnt be too worried.

On top of that, i think there is a way to find out WHY your vehicle has a salvage title. Should be on the report.

That clearance sounds about right with the stock crossmember.

Go with aftermarket crossmembers or traction bars, you'll get more clearance that way.

you should probably just car fax it so you know. a traction bar will give you lots of clearance there to. and an 8th of an inch isnt to much. im sure if you just loosed everything and got the mount connected to the block and tighted everything it would all work out.
