Can i use my crx alternator w the ls motor
Yes, but you'll have to use washers between the bracket and alternator. The problem is, the CRX alternator is for a three ribbed belt, and the pulley on the ls motor is 4 rib, so chances are good it may slip some or eat up the belt depending on how bad off it is.
Mine just slips a little, but I am sure that this isn't the best set-up, and probably will cause premature belt wear

are you using the ls or crx belt?
i put the crx one on yesterday, had to play around w the upper bracket to fit that bolt in, it was a bitch. im using the ls alternator belt which is for 4 rib, and i can see it sliping a bit on the crx alternator. Im gonna swap the 4 rib pulley from the ls onto the crx alternator and see how that works...
