Default MIL light replacement

How do you replace this light bulb? or do you have to buy a whole new cluster?

Yeah but in this particular case, there wasn't an answer in the thread so re-asking in the same thread seems relevant. Now future searches will provide peeps with an answer.

One of the rare times the bump seems appropriate. Thanks for providing the answer even if a little harshly. You have helped future CEL bulb replacement searchers.

Yeah that makes sense... This was one of those one offs that it actually was a helpful bump, doesn't happen often.

Thanks, I think? Not sure what the attitude is for. I've never taken the cluster out. How would I know if it's a sealed unit or not. I searched the forum and the rest of the interent for quite a while and couldn't find an answer. Sorry to **** all over your day with my worthless bump.

Dont' sweet it mate, the is a slightly different philosphy here at H-T than other forums. They actually prefer new threads in most cases than digging old threads out of the bone yard.

You didn't know so it's all good.

Please don't wrile up the lions in the lion den, they haven't been fed lately and are a little grouchy.

And lastly, you have not specified what year, make and model of car you are talking about nor any mods you have etc etc.

Really hard to specify any details without this crucial information.

Ah, okay, thanks! You're right, I didn't say anything about the car. Guess I figured the gauge clusters were similar. It's a '96 Accord; nothing special. I've added a throttle body, cold air intake, headers, cat back exhaust, and a few other little things. The clutch went out last year so I swapped in a F23A at the same time. Maybe you can help me with this in the link below? I had a little trouble with the timing after the swap.

Thanks!

So I went to Autozone and asked the guy at the counter for the correct bulb. He tells me to go to the dealer so I went over to the bulb area of the store. Bulb 2721 fits the size T-5 Toshiba V-2 bulb holder. I had to use a rubber jar opener to grip the old bulb.
