i've been searching for hours and dont know what the stock compression is! does anyone know? not talking about the compression ratio i know that its 10.1. i was gonna buy a b18c1 motor and the guy at the shop did a compression test for before i buy. but the number seems a little too high! it just doesnt seem right! the nembers were 275 to 290 all across the board. you think he poured oil in the spark well and made the numbers jump that high?

 

I can't be sure, but it should be somewhere around 225 if I remember correctly. Many people don't correctly do a compression test, so there are tons of numbers flying around out there...Godd luck!

 

yeah, 275 is definetly too high for a stock gsr. a healthy stock gsr should be around 200-230...
