B16 swap into 96 dx civic
I put an obd1 b16a into my 96 civic dx yesterday by myself and I only took me 11 hours YAY!
But with anything good one must encounter problems....so here's mine.
My setup is with RYWIRE's dizzy jumper and ecu jumper with a jdm p30 ecu.
I'm getting spark and I am getting gas UP TO the fuel rail....but here's the problem, out of all the guides that I read none of spoke about d series and b series fuel line compatabillity problems for a b16 into a civic with a y7. It seems the way my fuel line banjo fitting is and the threaded portion of the rail is..the fuel cant get from the line into the rail...there's no hole for it to go through, the hole for the fuel is on the outer portion of the fuel rail fitting...not in the middle where the d series line hole is......anyway, here's pictures because I obviously cant mold it into words.
Here's the D series fuel line.

And the B series rail/fitting, notice the placement of the fuel inlet in relation to the D line.

And here's the rail that came from the D series...notice the hole in relation to the B series rail....

I just had someone tell me that I needed like a DC teg fuel line....any truth in this?

when I saw this along time ago I thought the same thing but the hole doesnt have to be there. later on I turned up the psi and added a few bolt ons and wanted to make sure so I pulled the rail off and drilled a hole threw it.
Yeah...to anyone that reads this...The fuel line was fine!!!!
D lines can carry over to B rails....I just had the washer's on backwards..
I guess anyone is allowed a few mistakes when they take on this sort of job.
I just have to figure out the electrical issues....shoulda picked up an ex harness while I had the chance...
