Default List of upcoming Upgrades....have i choosen wisely?

Hey guys, thanks for takin the time to check out the thread. I just recently removed a JDM ITR from my buddies hatch and plan on putting it in my '96 EJ6 Coupe....I dont want to just drop it right in as is so im gonna beef it up a little before she gets her new home....The motor seems to be in great condition, just needs a new valve cover...he told me its coming up on needing an oil change soon, so when i checked the oil in it and it looked like it was as clean as the day it was poured in, i was pretty happy...He took great care of it and very rarely beat on it....actually he never beat on it...i think "got into it" would be a better term...

I swapped my B16 into his car when i took his motor out and when i took him for a ride pullin 3rd to redline and hittin 4th, he was gettin shook...hes like...dude...i never ever do this...he starts his car 10 minutes before he leaves no matter what hes doing or where hes going...needless to say, its been babied...she was completely stock when i got her, but took some of the goodies off of my B16 to put into the R....

As she sits at the moment:

- JDM B18C
- S80 Tranny with Stage 1 Clutch ( feels alot looser than im used to, my stage 2 ACT grabbed a 1/2" off the floor, this feels like a stock DX )
- Short Ram - Will be purchasing VS
- AEM Fuel Rail
- RC 310cc Injectors
- DC 4-1 Headers ( Not the best of shape )
- Chipped P28 with VAFC-2
- Test pipe

What im thinking of getting:

- Fuel Pressure Regulator ( this is a DEF )
- Stage 2 Clutch
- Flywheel
- Selling my Apex'i GT-Spec and getting WSII
- AEM Wideband UEGO A/F Gauge
- Tune
- New headers?
- N1 Crank Pulley

I had asked a couple of weeks ago of the most BENEFICIAL upgrade to the JDM B18C and a pretty strong amount of people said the 4.9 FD...since its the JDM it has the 4.75 already doesnt it? as opposed to the USDM 4.4 i believe??? i may be wrong but thats why im here...

im really tryin to get a feel for what all of you experienced R owners think, and if this is a good start before i start ordering parts....Thanks for any input and info you guys give, i dont think i would have even TRIED to tackle half of the jobs ive done without input from HT...

to all

- Stage 2 Clutch <-- An OEM replacement or stage 1 will hold the tq.
- Flywheel
- Selling my Apex'i GT-Spec and getting WSII
- AEM Wideband UEGO A/F Gauge <--- waste of money on a stock engine
- Tune <--- What are you tuning with?
- New headers? <--- How many "headers" do you have...its header.
- N1 Crank Pulley <---stock crank pulley is fine.

Just my opinion.

What are you doing about a cat?
You're spending the money on a header and exhaust...what about between them?

Just do Intake, header, cat, exhaust, tune it with crome, neptune and call it a day.

Sorry...thought you were only using the bottom list.

I would ditch the VAFC and get it dyno tuned with the P28.
You don't need the AEM fuel rail, but if you have it, I guess keep it if you want.
Suggest getting a cat, instead of a test pipe.

That's on top of the other suggestions...

why get a cat?? i figured test pipe would be better for air-flow....yea less back pressure, but thats only when slowin down!!!

i already have the fuel rail as well as the injectors, and without a FPR and a tune it would all be useless and i would burn to rich or too lean...i need the A/F gauge to tell my ratio during tuning, the header i have is flattened a little bit on the bottom from a bad bottom out, but i dont think it bent into the inside of the tubing...i know the stock crank pulley would be just fine, but would the N1 be a beneficial upgrade....

yeah if you want to blow your motor, please dont get that ****

there was no point in the injectors or the fuel rail, you dont need the fpr, your motor is stock yo. for reference my jdm r motor just has I/H/E, ctr intake cam, exedy clutch and fly, and a chipped p28 with a program that topsetup put together for me and the **** rips. if you want an idea how fast i pulled on my buddies eg that went 13.6 in the 1/4mile with my gsr. you should know my car is stripped tho nothing but front seats, front carpet, dash, and door panels. o and no ac also

the CTR intake cam is better than the JDM ITR intake cam? what do you have you motor in? a hatchback? and you beat a EG that went 13.6? niiiice...i would certainly be happy with that....

yea i got just the essentials as well....no p/s, no a/c....
