well guys my car wont start. i try to start it up and it ran for like 5 sec then shut off. i check everything i cant pull a cel from it but i did notice that when i turn the key to the on position the engine wont prime it self to start so i think that might be the problem. the fuel pump work but i dont think its send fuel into the engine? so how would i go about this? any help would be great.

 

What year is your teg?
Do you hear the fuel pump prime when you turn the key on (not start the car)?
Is the battery charged?
Are your spark plugs wet and what do they look like?

 

i have a switch for my fuel pump so i can turn it on but the engine doesnt prime it self the car is a 94 jdm gsr. havent check the spark plugs

 

the motor cranks but doesnt start cause its not getting fuel to it i think

 

So you have the fuel pump wired in a custom way?
Are you using an oem fuel filter? If so, you can loosen the service bolt on top to see if fuel is reaching it.

 

kinda, i'll give that a try. u know how when u turn the key to on position u hear the noise and then a click well i dont hear any of that

 

Not sure if this applies to your setup, but the #24 fuse (20A) under the dash powers the pgf-mi main relay which powers the fuel pump. If that fuse is good, check to see if your getting battery voltage at the fuel pump connector when the key is turned ON.

hey thanks sitinduk i did everything u mention and it work there was a blown fuse under the dash and the plugs were a lil wet. i cleaned the plugs and replace the fuse and it started right up thanks a lot man
