spoon calipers with 15 te37 ??
I would say search, because this has been talked about a hundred times, but the search function is not so good.

There's an archive thread (where the only useful info on this site is now) with all the 15" wheels that clear spoon twin block calipers without wheel spacers.
Well don't post about stuff you don't know for sure 100%. Its largely dependent on the wheel width and wheel offset along with the shape of the spokes so you shouldn't go around just saying "oh yeah they SHOULD clear", especially if you're comparing different diameter wheel sizes. They didn't make 15x7 TE37s in +42 offset, its +43mm and that size does not clear spoon twin blocks without a wheel spacer. The +35 offset does.

From what you were saying, 15x7 43offset wont clear the brakes... I wonder if youve even had a set of TE37 or spoon calipers.
the majority of the 15" wheels out there will not clear without spacers. it's all dependent on offset, design of the spokes, how much material is on the hub area of the wheel, etc...
You may have more luck with 16" wheels clearing compared to 15".
And yes, i've had 15" TE37's and now i'm using 16" TE37's with my Spoon calipers.

I need to see if 15x7 42mm offset SSR Type C will clear.
Anyone Near Portland, OR with Spoons installed willing to let me try my wheels?
If i recall, i don't think your SSR Type C will clear without a spacer. i test fit a 16x7 42 or 45 offset Type C and it wouldn't clear. there's hardly any material behind the hub-mounting area to push it past the caliper.
lol, drive up to Vancouver and i'll let you test fit them on mine.
I think you will need a 5mm spacer for those TE37s to fit
The SSR type C's 16's need a spacer larger than 7mm to fit b/c I just tried the 16x7 42offset w/ a 7mm spacer and they would not clear.

Be very careful by giving out guesses like that.
For 15" TE37, you need at least 7" width and +35mm offset and it BARELY clears with less than 0.030" of clearance. +43 will not clear.
I only got the NSX Calipers to work on the 16 X 7 version, but from the measurements I made before on the 15 X 7 it SHOULD still fit.
I would really prefer some 15x8 +27 te37's but those are even more rare and hard to find.
Mike Marsey if you're reading this, I WANT TO BUY NOW!
